Stagecoach Lincoln South
A very warm welcome to Stagecoach Lincoln South! Through singing, dancing, and acting, we help young people aged 4–18 build confidence, develop life skills, and express themselves. Rooted in the Stagecoach ethos of “Creative Courage for Life”, our school is a safe, inclusive space where every student is free to be unapologetically themselves. Early Stages

Early Stages classes give children the opportunity to make new friends and have fun exploring each of the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and drama, as well as learning key life skills along the way.

Meet the team
Meet our Principal
Kirsty trained in Musical Theatre after early dance training in Lincoln, going on to perform professionally as a singer and dancer on global cruise ships and UK pantomimes. She began teaching at Stagecoach Blackheath before becoming Principal there, and now also leads Stagecoach Lincoln South. Kirsty is passionate about nurturing students’ growth through the performing arts, helping them build confidence, creativity, and courage for life.

Chris Charles
Manager
Chris holds a BA (Hons) in Acting from Trinity College, Wales. He has performed… with National Theatre Wales and in Theatre in Education before moving into voiceover and post-production. Formerly a casting agent at Soho Voices, he helped grow their children’s division. In 2021, he founded The Voice People, a voice agency championing inclusivity. As Deputy Principal of Stagecoach Lincoln South, Chris brings rich industry experience to every class.

Kerry Cant
Singing Teacher
Kerry holds a BA (Hons) in Music and Qualified Teacher Status. She teaches music… in a local primary school and specialises in vocal development. A talented singer and multi-instrumentalist, she has led regional choirs, recorded music with children, and won awards including BBC Choir of the Year with Radio Lincolnshire. Kerry brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm and has been part of the Stagecoach family for many years.

Becci Mason
Drama Teacher
Becci holds a BA (Hons) in Arts in the Community (Drama) and has worked… in drama and education across Yorkshire and the East Midlands. Since 2001, she has taught at Stagecoach Lincoln, Boston, and Hykeham. Her work includes writing, directing, and performing in over ten youth theatre productions, and she has led arts projects for youth services, the NHS, and more. Becci brings passion, creativity, and two decades of experience to her teaching.

Libby Thomas
Dance Teacher
Libby trained at London Studio Centre, graduating with a First-Class Honours Degree in Dance… Theatre. She toured with Intoto Contemporary Company and performed internationally on cruise ships, progressing from dancer to Company Manager. Libby has taught and choreographed for production shows and cruise contracts, and now brings her professional experience and passion for dance to inspire the next generation at Stagecoach.

Adele Thorpe
Early Stages Teacher
Adele holds a BA (Hons) in Dance and a PGCE, with experience as Head… of Dance and Advanced Skills Teacher at a performing arts school. She has worked in education and community arts, teaching ages 3 to 60+, and has directed shows including Animal Farm and The Threepenny Opera. Adele also created immersive workshops through ‘Storybook Days’. Now back at Stagecoach Lincoln South, she brings creativity and care to our Early Stages.
