Performing Arts Classes

Our Classes

A Stage for Every Age

At Stagecoach, we offer a range of classes for different ages. Each of our ‘Stages’ acts as a great introduction to the performing arts whilst also appropriately challenging children and young people whatever age they join. No prior experience in the performing arts is required and our classes utilise our Educational Framework so teachers can adapt class content for the interests and ages of the students in their classes. Plus, we now offer adult classes at select Stagecoach schools for over 18s looking to join the performing arts fun!

The Life Skills

Whilst students will be flexing their performance muscles in our classes, there is so much more to be gained from the performing arts than just learning how to sing, dance and act. There’s also a range of core life skills that come with a strong performing arts education.

Confidence

Students build the courage and confidence to stand up for themselves and others. From feeling bold enough to raise their hand in class, to performing a solo on stage, we love to see how far their confidence grows.

Friendship

Children and young people are given the chance to make new friends outside of their regular school circles and develop their all-important social and communication skills.

Resilience

The performing arts teach children and young people to have grit and to self-express in a healthy way. They are empowered to build resilience and adaptability in a safe and welcoming environment.

Creativity

As children and young people explore storytelling, improvisation and creating their own performances, they will expand their imagination and creativity.
